Melody Myers
Melody Myers has been a valued member of the Dog Training of Tampa Bay team for over three years.
She developed her skills through an extensive apprenticeship under Ivan and Natalia Balabanov,
gaining hands-on experience working with dogs of all breeds, ages, temperaments, and training goals.
Throughout that time, she demonstrated exceptional dedication, sound judgment, and a genuine
passion for helping both dogs and their owners succeed.
Today, Melody is one of our primary trainers, trusted to work independently with clients in our
Board & Train programs, private lessons, puppy development, obedience training, and behavior modification.
Whether working with a young puppy learning its first commands or helping resolve more challenging
behavioral issues, Melody approaches every dog with patience, confidence, and a clear understanding
of effective training.
At Dog Training of Tampa Bay, we place tremendous importance on who is trusted to train our clients' dogs. Melody has earned that trust through years of hard work, continuous learning, and consistently outstanding results. We are proud to have her as an integral part of our team and are confident that your dog will be in excellent hands.

One of Melody's greatest strengths is her ability to make both dogs and their owners feel comfortable. She enjoys teaching people just as much as she enjoys training dogs, helping owners understand not only what to do, but why they are doing it. Her calm, approachable personality and excellent communication skills make the learning process enjoyable and rewarding.
Outside of work, Melody shares her life with her two terriers, Jesko and Turbo. She enjoys exploring a variety of activities with them, including Barn Hunt, frisbee, trick training, and other interactive games. Her passion for dogs extends far beyond the training field and is reflected in the enthusiasm and commitment she brings to every client she works with.
